MICRODERMABRASION & PEELS
DiamondTome™ wands are used to gently remove the top-most layer of skin, clearing out dead cells and promoting the growth of healthy new skin cells. This medical grade technique allows for a non-chemical, noninvasive way to achieve restoration of smooth, vibrant skin, on the face, neck, chest and hands.
A series done over time helps sun damaged skin, fine lines, oiliness as well as mild acne scarring. It eases the extraction of clogged pores. Your skin care products and make-up will work better and go on more evenly. The age-defying result: smoother textured, revitalized skin, looking years younger! Stubborn cases can be improved with our CO2 laser, and IPL/PDT.
Exfoliative “Lunchtime” Glycolic/Salicylic Peels are tailored to your skin’s requirements and promote skin renewal. Best anti-aging results are achieved when preceded by microdermabrasion, and done in a series. Alpha-hydroxy acid based light peels cause little or no downtime. PHOTO-REJUVENATION
Utilizing the Limelight™, a programmable triple wavelength intense pulsed light (IPL) device, we can safely and effectively reduce redness and the blush of rosacea, dilated (‘broken’) capillaries, uneven (‘blotchy’) pigmentation, age spots and freckles. This can be done on the skin of face, neck, chest and hands. There is little or no down-time with this procedure. PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY (PDT)
This involves aminolevulinic acid (ALA), a topical medication that penetrates damaged skin cells, pores and oil glands, and sensitizes these to light. Addition of ALA to IPL dramatically increases effectiveness and speed of improvement, reducing the number of sessions needed. (More downtime may be experienced compared to IPL alone). No serious side effects have been reported.
Acne and rosacea patients gain significant results beyond that of their traditional regimens, reducing the need for antibiotics and topical creams. PDT and Laser Genesis are alternatives to Accutane®. Remissions can last many months.
Nd:Yag laser spider vein treatment
Red or purple spider veins (telangiectasias) and cherry red spots on the face, nose, chest, and legs result from influences by genetics, sun, hormones, trauma and aging. Most can be successfully treated with the Nd:YAG which delivers a precise dose of heat that coagulates the targeted vessels, which are then absorbed by the body.
